Boost Your Vitamin Intake And Reduce Inflammation With My Sunshine Smoothie Recipe.
Updated: Nov 25, 2021

This Smoothie recipe is a real favourite of mine. When I feel run down or have sore joints or muscles from training, I find the ingredients in this smoothie give an instant boost and sense of well being. I have carefully selected the ingredients to include electrolyte minerals to hydrate the body found in the coconut water, maca powder and banana. Powerful anti-inflammatory properties come from the popular superfood turmeric along with pineapple, papaya and optional ginger. Ginger has the added benefit of helping boost the immune system as it is an effective antimicrobial and antiviral agent. Boabab is included for its high vitamin c and whey protein isolate powder for its essential amino acids. Adding the whey powder and Flaxseed goji makes this smoothie great for a quick breakfast.
The Recipe: serves1
Add to a powerful blender/Nutri -Bullet or Ninja cup:
1 banana
2cm peeled fresh turmeric
1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger (optional)
1 tbsp. Maca Powder

1 Scoop Pulsin whey protein isolate (optional)
1 cup of fresh or frozen chopped pineapple, mango, papaya
2 tbsp. milled flaxseed mix ie with goji berries
Cover the ingredients with coconut water and a dash of fresh filtered water to dilute.
Add some ice if you are not using frozen fruit.
